A very productive Saturday indeed.It would have, of course been better,if i had more sleep and wasn't suffering from a mild HANGOVER!
Anyways,i started my day off,with my IMH(institute of mental health) voluntary visit. I must say,i was scared shit-less by the patient's excitement to see us! Being in the room surrounded by these various males,was so surreal. Getting to know them,was a real eye opener,listening and engaging with them,has really been an experience to me.Even if they're all locked up,they're so happy in their own little worlds,and if you're lucky they will let you in. They have feelings just like us,and its difficult to leave once you've spent time with them. I'd def come again,special friends:)) esp,Mr kalai Rajah! One man,who has inspired me,to never give up on life. For him,i'd try.I hope he's family takes him home tho,he's an awesome person,i'd bring him home anytime.He's like a granddad i never had!
Right after that,i had signed up with the rainbow club to tutor kids,whom are either underprivileged or might not be as normal as the rest of us.I was looking forward to this the entire week,and it was really FUN! I tutored a lil girl named Apple,and she's so adorable and incredibly smart!I'm already looking forward to next weekend.I'm glad i have finally made my weekends more productive!Away from drama,away from thinking of the could haves or would haves!Its more Peaceful this way.More alone time,with people whom appreciate you.
